We have a little time since the eldest is 4, but I love the idea of the double vanity closed off from the toilet and shower. Another plus, that the queen will appreciate will be drying her hair without all the humidity from the shower.Jessiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07030743470922965472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-62066346783149772092008-11-09T15:19:00.000-05:002008-11-09T15:19:00.000-05:00We went with the same toilets and they've been fin...We went with the same toilets and they've been fine (how can a toilet really be more than that?). Love the dual flush.

Great job on expanding the usefulness of the bathroom!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16477666144954787328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-49226573037471125492008-11-08T21:35:00.000-05:002008-11-08T21:35:00.000-05:00Corey,Ever thought about cutting a piece out of th...Corey,
Ever thought about cutting a piece out of the top of the wall near the vanity to take advantage of the light from the skylight in the bathroom? When we lived in Westport the middle bedroom shared the light from the skylight in the bathroom. It gave great illumination during the day.Harbor Honhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14311482342041164790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-2824422450998260262008-11-07T07:10:00.000-05:002008-11-07T07:10:00.000-05:00Hey Sarah, I hadn't really given tubular skylights...Hey Sarah, I hadn't really given tubular skylights much of a thought, but they are a great idea. Will look into them, though I must admit I have never cut a hole in my roof so that process makes me a bit nervous.Coreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17294937394397021875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-61156917452779387882008-11-07T07:08:00.000-05:002008-11-07T07:08:00.000-05:00Hi Ben,The niches are prefab from noblecompany.com...Hi Ben,

The niches are prefab from noblecompany.com. They are extrude polystyrene, and are great because there are no seams on them, so there is no place for water to intrude. Also, since they are prefab they are plumb and level. If you want a niche without having these you'll have to carefully frame in each niche, attach backerboard to the framing and then make sure all of the seams are sealed. Noble has a wide selection of niches. After working with them, my contractor was raving about them and recommended them to another client already.

http://www.noblecompany.com/Portals/0/PRODUCT%20INFO/Product%20Descriptions/Noble%20Niche%20&%20Curb%20Product%20Decription%20lr.pdfCoreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17294937394397021875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-63619418740072398112008-11-06T13:51:00.000-05:002008-11-06T13:51:00.000-05:00Hey Corey, Love the bathroom! I planning to put two in our master bath as well and would love to know more about yours!Bennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07682551689758548028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-36564944806027507202008-11-06T11:21:00.000-05:002008-11-06T11:21:00.000-05:00have you looked into the tubular skylights? I asked our contractor about them and apparently they aren't too difficult to install.

Just an idea, thought it might help with the light issue.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-47362519408794007192008-11-05T13:54:00.000-05:002008-11-05T13:54:00.000-05:00That is a great layout! I also use full spectrum bulbs in the bathroom. If you can't do the transom, look closely at your light bulb choices.Summerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12035161050945740202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7717122983754819465.post-61227136769691171922008-11-05T13:29:00.000-05:002008-11-05T13:29:00.000-05:00Admit it - you just want a place to put on your ey...Admit it - you just want a place to put on your eyeshadow every morning...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
