Remember that pretty mirror hanging over the newly painted fireplace?
Getting woken up at 1 am to a crashing sound is a bit startling. Next time I'll use a heavy duty fastener. :-)

Oh Man! That must of been scary and if someone was under there...yikes. Glad no one got hurt at least. Have fun shopping for a new mirror. ;)
I can't figure out a way for this not to sound weird, but I don't mean it that way when I say at least it wasn't over your bed! That's why they always say not to hang heavy things over the bed... BOOM. So what did you use to hang it? You know, so we know what not to do? I'm a big fan of the OOK line of wall "fasteners".
Whoops... glad to hear there were no injuries. The rest of the room looks awesome though!
Apparently it's a bad time to be a mirror (as well as a bad time to be a bank). Renovation Therapy just had a big mirror crash down, too. Glad no one was hurt.
Ouch!! So sorry!!
Just a question, but did you find that fireplace in your bedroom? We found one too, and bought a mantel at second chance to fill the space, though we haven't mounted it. Just wondering, cause after we took down the wallpaper in the bedroom, we found a fireplace outline and decided to put a mantel to fit the place. We're in the middle of wallpaper hell, getting our dressing room and second floor in order. Our house is a mess, and our dog Dancer isnt happy either about the mess. Has glue and paper stuck to him all the time, heh.
Your neighbor around the corner,
Latinqueen....
Wow! What a scary thing! So glad you and the Queen were ok. Was a beautiful mirror though.
I ducked and cursed just reading this (or maybe it was seeing the picture?)
Wow, good thing that wasn't over the bed, and glad your heart is still beating following the sound that must've made.
Hey Latinqueen,
The fireplace in the bedroom is orginal, or at least original from when I moved into the place. Sorry for taking so long to get to your comment. Glad to hear we aren't the only folks with a dirty dog. :-)
